"Happy Together is a major blast from the past. BUT lucky cut number 13 is worth the purchase price all by itself. I've always heard stories suggesting that John Lennon wanted 'Help' performed as a ballad, adn that he had done a crude recording to illustrate his wishes. Lee Newman and producer Lauren Wild have either heard the oft-rumored cassette, or Lee is channeling John Lennon. Not to say Lee is John Lennon. but hearing 'Help' produced as the pleading love song it was destined to be makes so much sense and caps off a fun listening experience. But don't think that this is only for baby boomers waxing nostalgic. For proof that this project is fun for younger generations is as close as the background singers, as Ami Dolenz, daughter of Monkee Mickey, rock 'n roll royalty one generation removed, and Rain Pryor, daughter of the legendary comedian lend a hand on the chorus from a different tune. Happy Together, The '60s Songbook comes just in time for summer fun."

"Third generation: Lee Newman debuts "Relatively Singing"(Original Cast Record) with grandpa's hit tunes including "When My Sugar Walks Down the Street," "Making Whoopee," "Sunny Side of the Street," etc… They'd love sonny boy.
Army Archerd

"A fine cd sung in a well controlled voice. Newman's own "Brown Eyed Boy" is a refreshing coctail jazz retreat in the style of "Girl From Ipanema"
Tom Kidd

"Lee Newman is a great talent! I love this album!"
Gary Owens
KGIL Radio, Los Angeles

"The evening begins on a high note as Lee Newman croons a half hour of light jazz and pop tunes. With his sweet voice, dulcet acoustic guitar and the helpful bass of Alex Reverberi, Newman gently entertains. A few stories about his famous musical relatives Eddie Cantor and Jimmie McHigh, precede enjoyable renditions of those artists famous numbers including "Making Whoopee" and "On The Sunny Side of The Street"
Tom Provenzano
